Olympic national park has some of the most beautiful coastal, rain forest, and mountain scenery in the United States and the most diverse national park found anywhere in the world. During this Olympic national park tour we will capture the backdrop of snowcapped mountains, pristine rainforests, booming waterfalls and stunning beaches with rock stacks on the Washington coast.
Mount Rainier national park is one of the oldest national park in the United States and dominates the western Washington state. Mount Rainier is an active volcano and the most glaciated peak in the US spawning six major rivers. During this photography tour of the Mountain Rainier national park we will capture the blooming wild flowers in the mountain meadows, pristine evergreen forests, mountain lakes and waterfalls.
Our last section of the tour will be the rolling streets and citycapes of Seattle. In Seattle we will capture the waterfront against the backdrops of Mount Rainier and the towering skyscrapers.
All levels are catered for so whether you are new to photography, an enthusiast or a seasoned pro we provide a fun packed tour with a masterclass in landscape techniques from our professional photographer Robert Canis.
While on location you will receive dedicated one-to-one tuition to help hone your landscape photography skills. Robert will offer guidance on both the technical and creative aspects of landscape photography and always be at hand to provide feedback on your photographs. At each location we visit Robert will make suggestions and offer advice on how to create wow factor images.
Your tutor for this workshop is Robert Canis. Rob is a professional nature photographer living in Kent, England. Born in 1970, from an early age he has always had a fascination with the natural world and from the moment he first picked up a camera at the age of 10, he has been hooked!
Upon leaving school he attended Paddington College, in London, where he gained a BTECH National Diploma in Photography and for several years worked as an assistant photographer and photographic technician. Although no longer a member of the RPS (Royal Photographic Society), at the age of 19 he was awarded an ARPS (Associate) in the nature category where he was (and still is) one of the youngest ever to do so. He would spend every free moment with his camera but feeling he needed to devote more time to his nature photography, at the age of 22 he decided to take the plunge and turn freelance.
The landscape workshops with Tatra Photography are sponsored by Lee Filters and Robert White Camera Suppliers.
Lee Filters have kindly donated a landscape filter set including various grads, ND filters and the BIG 10 Stopper, Lee have also provided a range of holders and rings, all of which will be available to use to participants on the workshops and will be demonstrated by the Tatra photography award winning tutors.
Any customers wanting to purchase their products can then buy from Robert White cameras or direct from Lee filters.
