Tatra Photography would like to share with you a couple of pictures from the workshop this May.
Wild garlic (Allium ursinum) growing within hop hornbeam (Ostrya carpinifolia) woodland in Plitvice Lakes National Park.
The intense blue-green of the water within Plitvice Lakes National Park is due to the presense of lime mud particles eroded from the surrounding rocks. This waterbody is part of the Upper Lakes and is populated by reeds (Phragmites species).
The bird’s-nest orchid’s (Neottia nidus-avis) unusual colouration betrays its unusual lifecycle. As a parasitic plant, taking its food from tree roots, it does not produce the chlrophyll that makes most plants green. Growing within beech (Fagus sylvatica) woodland at Plitvice Lakes National Park.
The clock-like seed head of a common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) caught in the evening light.
