Join Tatra Photography for the ultimate tour of Yosemite national park in California. With soaring mountains, towering trees, crystal-clear waterfalls, grand meadows in vast wilderness areas, Yosemite national park is a haven for landscape photography. We will follow in the famous footsteps of Ansel Adams who immortalised Yosemite to capture the spectacular Autumn colours.

Autumn in Yosemite is Golden, in addition to the park’s astounding evergreens, Yosemite national park also boasts a plethora of deciduous trees, shrubs, and vines throughout the park that become nature’s fireworks during the Autumn months. The Yosemite autumn colours of yellow leaves on the big leaf maples, brown and gold on the black oaks, red, pink, and yellow leaves on the dogwoods, brilliant yellow on the black cottonwoods, and reds, golds, and yellows on shrubs and smaller plants and we’ll see the brilliant red hues of sugar maple trees.

We will begin the tour to the east of the National Park, shooting some of the incredible scenery of the Eastern Sierras. We will visit a variety of locations including Mono Lake, Convict Lake and the beautiful scenery surrounding the June Lake Loop. For the second half of the tour we will prioritise shooting all the iconic views in the park, including Valley View, Cathedral Beach, Olmstead Point, Glacier Point and the world famous Tunnel View.

All levels are catered for so whether you are new to photography, an enthusiast or a seasoned pro we provide a fun packed tour with a masterclass in landscape techniques from our professional photographer Mark Bauer.
