Andy Parkinson profileAndy is a feature contributor to National Geographic magazine and is a multi-award winning wildlife photographer. His images have been awarded twice in Wildlife Photographer of the Year, twice in the European Wildlife Photographer of the Year and 15 of his images have been awarded in the British Wildlife Photography Awards including 2 category wins. He was also named the 2012 Nature Photojournalist of the Year with a portfolio of gannet images taken on assignment for National Geographic.

He is also a prolific contributor to BBC Wildlife magazine and has completed 9 photo features for them whilst his work is sold throughout the world by a network of leading international agencies including Getty images, Corbis, Nature Picture Library, RSPB Images, FLPA, NHPA/Photoshot and Lonely Planet Images.

Andy works exclusively with wild animals and birds and has appeared on various TV and radio programs including Wild About Wales and BBC’s Countryfile where he had to teach comedian Jo Brand how to take wildlife images. He was also a proud member of the 2020VISION photographic team.
